Quarex is free, and it stays free. There are two ways to be part of it.

One costs nothing. One helps pay the bills. They are completely separate, and doing either one never signs you up for the other.

Costs nothing. Ever.

Join the Quarex Core Group and get an email when something worth telling you about actually happens:

  • New books added to the library
  • New features and tools as they go live
  • Election coverage as the 2026 races unfold
  • New videos, and the occasional look behind the scenes

That's the whole thing. No ads in it, nothing sold in it, and no one else ever gets your address. Unsubscribe in one click, any time.

Email only. We never ask for anything else.

Any amount, once. No subscription.

If Quarex is useful to you, you can chip in toward what it actually costs to run — the AI, the servers, the tools that keep it going.

What you get is deliberately almost nothing:

  • One genuine thank-you, and that's the entire relationship
  • No badge, no perks, no members-only anything
  • Nothing here gets unlocked — it was never locked

There's no paid tier because there's nothing to sell you. Everything Quarex does is already free, for everybody, and it stays that way.

Any amount. No account, no signup, no password to make.

The part most sites get wrong

Donating does not put you on the mailing list. Those are two different doors and they stay that way. Chip in and you'll get one thank-you and then nothing — no follow-up asks, no "since you gave once," no handing your name to anyone. If you want the emails, that's the free button, and it's your choice to press it.

Where the money actually goes

Quarex has no staff and no office. Nearly all of it is machines:

AI (the Anthropic API behind every answer)
the largest cost, by far
Web hosting
monthly
The server that runs Quarex Radio
monthly
Email delivery
monthly
Domains & software
yearly

When more people use Quarex, the AI bill goes up — that's the one cost that scales with how useful it's being. Chipping in is what keeps that from becoming a reason to put things behind a paywall.

What we will never do

This is not a tax-deductible donation. Quarex is built by Quarex Media LLC, a small business — not a registered charity. Chipping in supports the work; it isn't a charitable contribution and you can't deduct it. We'd rather say that plainly than let anyone assume otherwise.

About "no tracking." This page carries no analytics at all. Payments are handled by Stripe, which necessarily records the transaction — that's how receipts, refunds and tax records work, and we can't opt out of it. What we control is what happens next, and the answer is nothing: your name and email stay with the payment record, don't enter a mailing list, and aren't shared or sold.
