Subject: Quarex Update: Candidate Changes, Territory Coverage, and Ecosystem Enhancements
Hi team,
Quick update on several Quarex improvements deployed today:
1. Candidate Data Refresh (Feb 21, 2026)
Our weekly scrape identified significant movement across the 2026 races:
- 72 new candidates declared across 30 states
- 29 candidates withdrew or were removed
- Key changes in competitive districts (CA, NY, FL, TX, PA)
Full change report available at:
https://quarex.org/reports/election/candidate-changes-2026-02-21.html
2. Non-Voting House Delegates Added
We've expanded coverage to include all 5 non-voting House districts:
- District of Columbia (DC-AL) — 18 declared candidates
- Guam (GU-AL) — Incumbent James Moylan (R)
- American Samoa (AS-AL) — Incumbent Aumua Amata (R)
- US Virgin Islands (VI-AL) — 3 candidates
- Northern Mariana Islands (MP-AL) — Incumbent Kimberlyn King-Hinds (R)
Note: Puerto Rico's Resident Commissioner serves a 4-year term (elected 2024) — no 2026 race.
These are now browsable at both election2026.net and elecciones2026.net under a new "Territories" section.
3. Ecosystem Page Enhanced
The interactive ecosystem map (quarex.org/ecosystem.html) now includes quick navigation to:
- Ethics & Safety Guidelines — Our content principles
- What is a Quarex — Concept overview for new users
- Specification — Technical documentation
- Creator Tools — Book and curriculum builders
This gives visitors a visual overview of the full Quarex ecosystem from a single page.
